CATCH: Coastal Angling Tourism - a development chance for the South Baltic Region.

This website (Fishingsouthbaltic.eu) was funded and created by the EU project “Coastal Angling Tourism – a development chance for the South Baltic Region”, “CATCH” for short.

The mission of the CATCH project is – via coastal angling tourism – to provide a unique development opportunity for the South Baltic Region. In Europe, coastal angling tourism outside the main holiday season is an upcoming touristic trend. It offers a diversification of coastal tourism with very promising market opportunities. Especially for less developed coastal regions, this new trend could have great implications for regional development and the creation of new jobs. So far, however, angling tourism is an undeveloped economic growth opportunity and a niche market in the South Baltic.

If you are interested in going fishing along the beautiful coasts of the South Baltic Sea you can, among other things, find all the information you need right here – using our map in particular will provide you with all the detailed information you need for an exciting fishing trip within the area. You will also find inspiration for other things to do on your holiday besides fishing.
