Welcome to the photo competition
"Fishing South Baltic #myCATCH"!
The Photo competition will be held within the South Baltic Region. Countries participating are Denmark, Germany, Lithuania and Poland. The pictures taken within the competition are meant to give an impression of the possibilities for coastal recreational fishing, the nature and sustainable tourism within the region. The photo competition is organized by EUCC-Germany and will start at the 26 November 2018.
By participating at the competition you declare that you consent to the eligibility requirements and declare that you hold all rights on the submitted picture and that in cases where individuals are shown, no individual rights are infringed upon. Furthermore, you agree to the way the contributions are used.
The most convincing pictures will be awarded with vouchers for fishing equipment or for individually designed photo products from www.pixum.com. The main price is a 150 € voucher for www.pro-fishing.eu.
The best pictures will also be displayed during the final conference of the project on 5-6 April 2019 in Dźwirzyno, Poland. More information about CATCH are also available at: www.catch-southbaltic.eu.
Who can participate?
Adult (above 18 years old) amateur and professional photographers alike are allowed to compete. Members of the jury and members and employees of CATCH or EUCC-Germany, or any of their relatives are excluded from participation. To take part the pictures are required to be uploaded in digital form to the competition database. To upload the pictures a registration (Log-In) is required. If you already took part in a EUCC-Germany competition you can log in with your email-address and password. Otherwise please register.
How can I participate?
Every participant is allowed to submit up to 3 pictures. The pictures have to be uploaded in .jpg format to the competition website and should have a minimum size of 1 Mb. Each submitted picture should be labelled with the required information (i.e. location of the shot, description of the picture, copyright specifications, etc.) and the necessary contact details (given name, surname, email-address) when uploaded to the database.
The participants accept that their data are used and stored to run the photo competition and that their data are stored within a photo database afterwards. Three month after the close down of the photo database the data will be deleted. The consent to the storage of the collected data by EUCC-Germany can be revoked at any time. Pictures sent in via post or e-mail cannot take part in the competition. Pictures sent in via post will not be returned. EUCC-Germany reserves the right to remove inappropriate or infringing photos and to exclude them from the competition.
Deadline to submit photos to the competition is the 28 February 2019.
By entering this competition, you agree that the images you submit may be published and used unrestricted in terms of time, place and content by EUCC-Germany, its partners and all sponsors of the competition for the purposes of the promotion of this competition, the project CATCH and in the frame of all future public relations. All submitted images can be used for the competition and its published evaluations under naming the respective author of the picture by the organizer of the competition. The organizer notably has the right to display the copy, to publish it in the media and other publications and to present it in the internet for the purpose of publishing the competitions evaluation. For the usage of the picture in the frame of the competition and for further publications by the CATCH partners participants cannot claim a fee for usage. Further rights can be defined while uploading the picture.
The photographer must be the sole author and owner of the copyright of photos entered into the competition. By uploading your picture, you declare to be full right owner of this picture and in case people, institutions, facilities or organizations are shown you declare not to harm any personal rights or trade secrets by publishing this picture. If people on the pictures are identifiable clearly, you need an agreement for publishing this picture. If third parties assert claims for violations of their rights, the participant exempts EUCC-Germany from all claims.
EUCC-Germany assumes no liability for loss or damage to submitted artwork. Inappropriate or infringing photos will be removed. Note: The decisions of the organizer are final and binding; there is no right of appeal. The organizer reserves the right to cancel or modify the photo competition.
